Pilates IQ

OVERVIEW​

Pilates IQ is a boutique home Pilates studio, accommodating a maximum of three participants per class. They offer

high-quality Reformer, Mat, Barre, and stretch classes, with a strong emphasis on fostering a community atmosphere and a genuine commitment to each individual's overall well-being and health.

BRIEF

The client aimed to cultivate a community feel, emphasizing a sincere commitment to holistic health. A preference for dark, moody colors—though not overly dark—was expressed, along with a desire for branding that is chic, innovative, and clever.

DESIGN

Numerous images of the ocean were provided, so I chose a muted color palette inspired by those scenes, reflecting the client's coastal location. The sleek, rounded font design embodies the elegance of Pilates movements. The interlocked letters "PIQ" symbolize balance and connection within the community. Upon closer inspection, the dot forms the letter "I" while also representing a person in a Pilates position.
